Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight of complex technology implementation and modernization programs. You will blend project management with IV&V duties to evaluate governance, controls, risk, and delivery performance, reporting to clients and stakeholders.

You will serve as an engagement lead and senior analyst, coordinating teams and client communications while ensuring adherence to standards and effective forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• 2+ years performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance or comparable independent assessments.
• Experience evaluating governance, management practices, risks, issues, schedules and readiness.
• Experience developing assessment findings, executive briefings, and client-facing deliverables.
• Strong analytical, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• This is a remote position with up to 30% travel; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IV&V engagements for technology implementation and modernization projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assessment activities (document reviews, interviews, workshops).
• Assess governance, management practices, risks, schedules, delivery performance, readiness.
• Analyze artifacts and metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and executive deliverables for clients.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
