Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight and assessments of complex technology modernization programs. The role blends project management with IV&V responsibilities to evaluate governance, controls, risk, schedule, and delivery effectiveness.

You will provide objective assessments, actionable recommendations, and executive-level reporting to clients and stakeholders, while coordinating teams and client communications. Remote position with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, or comparable independent assessment activities.
• Experience evaluating governance, project management practices, risks, issues, schedules, and readiness.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and work remotely as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IV&V engagements supporting technology modernization, digital transformation, and system integration initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assessment activities (document reviews, interviews, workshops).
• Assess governance, management effectiveness, risk, schedule performance, and implementation readiness.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and executive-facing deliverables.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business development and practice growth.
