SouthState Bank is hiring for a Correspondent Senior Business Development Officer. This remote role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with community banks, marketing current SouthState Correspondent products, and driving new sales across the region.

Responsibilities include visiting customers/prospects, presenting analyses, and liaising at events while collaborating with bank management and industry influencers. Travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six to ten years of related banking/business development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop new relationships with community banks and generate sales for SouthState Correspondent products.
• Maintain knowledge of SouthState Bank and its affiliates.
• Coordinate visits and prepare reports for customers/prospects.
• Present analyses and service options to prospects and clients.
• Liaise at bank-sponsored and external events to grow the network.
• Cultivate relationships with market influencers such as CPAs, law firms, and trade associations.
