Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Correspondent Senior Business Development Officer to own the end-to-end development of new relationships and drive sales with community banks. This role focuses on marketing current SouthState Correspondent products and services while staying current on all offerings.

This is a remote opportunity with heavy travel (about 90%), and compensation between $87,282 and $139,425 per year, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
• Experience: Six to ten years related experience and/or training
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: None

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community banks to generate new sales.
• Market SouthState Correspondent products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of SouthState Bank, N.A. and related offerings.
• Plan and schedule visits to customers/prospects in defined region.
• Present analysis comparisons and other services for prospect institutions.
• Liaise at bank-sponsored and external events.
• Cultivate relationships with market influencers (consultants, law firms, CPAs).
