Job summary

Mixpanel, Inc. is seeking a Customer Engineer on a remote basis to partner with Account Executives and customers to drive value through analytics. You will lead technical qualification for use cases, deliver customised demos, and scope analytics projects across organizations.

You will work with business and technical teams to shape Proof-of-Concepts, propose data ingestion architectures, and align success criteria with client goals while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a SaaS Sales Engineering or related role.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in data querying, modelling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, BI platforms, or Product Analytics tools.
• Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses (Google Cloud, Redshift, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Excellent written, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Gemini.
• The ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor for prospects, advising on data architecture and business outcomes.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions.
• Bridge technical and business gaps with senior stakeholders during proofs-of-concept.
• Impart best practices throughout proof-of-concept projects.
