B&B Concrete Contractors is seeking a seasoned estimating professional to lead reinforcing-steel takeoffs, cost-estimating, detailing coordination and preconstruction activities for diverse concrete projects. Remote work is available, with periodic site visits and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on reinforcing-steel experience.
• Ability to review structural drawings for detailing.
• Experience with large concrete and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in estimating labor and material costs.
• Knowledge of ACI and CRSI guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from structural drawings and specifications.
• Develop material, fabrication, detailing, placing labor, equipment, freight and other project costs.
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions based on project conditions.
• Analyze bar sizes, tonnage, congestion, splice requirements and embeds.
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Identify project risks and potential cost exposures before bid submission.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final estimates.
• Assist management with bid strategy and pricing.
• Coordinate pricing with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and assumptions.
