Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to lead RFQ/RFP responses across divisions. You will co-manage proposal activity schedules, develop and coordinate content, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in marketing or proposal work within professional settings, with strong MS Office and collaboration skills to support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of marketing, business development, and/or proposal field.
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Acrobat, and other applicable tools.
• Attention to detail and strong English grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work on a team to meet goals, including remote teammates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Experience editing content written by technical professionals for architectural/engineering/construction firms.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices such as APMP, Shipley, Lohfeld.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP responses and maintain qualifications library.
• Coordinate kickoff and status meetings with writers and BD.
• Create templates and supervise drafts through final review.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Marketing for compliance and data.
• Manage content uploads and desktop publishing for proposal documents.
• Schedule submittals and handle delivery to clients.
• Maintain weekly Capture Management and Opportunity reports.
• Support Teammate resumes and content library updates.
