Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to join our team. The Associate Director will support the Director of Project Management in driving growth, client management, and profitability of the business unit through leadership, new business development, client management and service delivery.

Responsibilities include leading bid teams, attending client interviews, coaching staff, and providing weekly project updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
• Experience managing client accounts and teams.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Project Management in managing new and existing client relationships, driving new revenue through the generation of new work and contract renewals on existing accounts.
• Lead bid teams and run proposal generation efforts in concert with the business generation and senior management teams.
• Attend client interviews to present our service offerings.
• Provide weekly updates regarding the status of projects, initiatives, and staffing, and highlight issues or conflicts as needed.
• Provide effective line management for staff, including coaching and mentoring for growth objectives.
• Utilize financial tools to track margins, fee forecasts, and financial reports; ensure invoices are accurate and issued timely.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and work with Senior Management to promote Turner & Townsend across the U.S.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients and drive the client diversification agenda.
