Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to join our team. The role supports the Director of Project Management in growing the business unit through leadership, client management and effective service delivery on major infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will lead bid teams, manage client accounts and mentor staff, while ensuring project performance, financial targets and cross-selling opportunities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field.
• Graduate degree preferred in construction or engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in construction.
• Experience managing client accounts and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of local construction market.
• Deep understanding of the construction life cycle.
• Proven business development and cross-selling experience.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of PM in growing revenue and managing client relationships.
• Lead bid teams and manage proposals with senior management.
• Present offerings at client interviews.
• Mentor and coach staff for growth.
• Track project status, issues, and staffing.
• Manage project margins, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Ensure timely client invoices and AR follow-up.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across the U.S.
• Lead infrastructure projects within corporate campuses.
• Liaise with municipal authorities.
