Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Project Accountant to manage project financials, contract administration, billing, and collections across the organization. This role handles a high volume of invoicing, partners with Project Managers, and mentors Project Accountants to ensure accurate client billing.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independent decision-making, and expertise in Deltek Vantagepoint, contract review, and accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• 8+ years in a high-volume billing department or equivalent.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and project accounting systems is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Project Accountants to ensure accurate project set up in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Review contracts to ensure invoicing conforms to terms.
• Issue high-volume, high-complexity invoices in coordination with Project Managers.
