Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Project Accountant to manage project financials, invoicing, contract administration, and collections across the organization. You will mentor Project Accountants, partner with Project Managers on invoicing and forecasting, and ensure accurate client invoices and timely receivables using Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and 8+ years in high-volume billing.
• Experience with project accounting, invoicing, and collections processes.
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint and Tableau reporting.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Project Accountants to ensure accuracy of project setup and invoicing.
• Process a high volume of invoices with project managers to ensure correctness.
• Manage unbilled time/expenses and aging balances with proactive collection efforts.
• Support project forecasting and accounts receivable activities.
• Train managers in billing processes and onboarding.
