Job summary

Jobgether seeks an experienced technical writer to lead the creation and publication of user guides, release notes, and other end-user documentation for our suite of software products. You will work with engineers, product managers, and SMEs to translate complex functionality into clear, practical content.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10–15 years in technical writing, and strong skills with Word, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 10–15 years of experience in technical writing for complex software applications.
• Proven ability to develop product user guides, release notes, and comprehensive docs, including in environments with limited specifications.
• Strong proficiency with Word, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visio, and other documentation/publishing tools.
• Experience working within software development environments and collaborating with engineers, product and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple documentation projects, priorities, and deadlines with high quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, editing, and problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating reviews and aligning deliverables across teams.
• Commitment to documentation excellence, usability, and continuous improvement.
• Remote work from the United States with alignment to Eastern Time Zone.
