Job summary

Capital Technology Group is seeking a Technical Writer to develop clear, accurate, user-focused documentation for mission-critical systems and applications. This role suits a detail-oriented communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences in secure environments.

You will collaborate with engineers and product teams, manage documentation projects end-to-end, and keep content up to date with system changes and release

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, CS, IS, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in technical writing or content management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
• Experience documenting software systems or enterprise applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user manuals, guides, online help content, and process documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and SMEs to translate technical concepts into clear content
• Create technical specifications, training materials, reports, and presentations
• Manage documentation projects end-to-end from planning to publication
• Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, accuracy
• Update documentation based on system changes and user feedback
• Support usability testing to ensure documentation meets user needs
• Communicate updates and project status to stakeholders and business users
