Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Able to read, debug, and extend code in Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven patterns, and failure handling.
• Hands-on observability: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Experience with cloud infra (Azure or equivalent) with containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Maintenance mindset: health, clean code, and good documentation.
• Clear communicator who explains systems and incidents well.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the full platform; expand knowledge across components.
• Monitor platform health, investigate issues, resolve bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Design and ship focused features and improvements across platform components.
• Extend logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for visibility in production.
• Profile and tune components under load to improve performance and scale.
• Write tests, review code, and uphold engineering standards for production readiness.
• Participate in on-call rotation and root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Collaborate with delivery pods and Decision Intelligence for long-term ownership.
