The position emphasizes high-touch service, accurate data entry, and collaboration with care teams to ensure timely access to primary and specialty care. Remote work is possible after in-person training is completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1+ years of customer service, call center, and/or insurance experience.
• 1+ years of healthcare registration or receptionist experience.
• 6+ months of insurance registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient demographics, guarantor and subscriber data for accuracy and billing.
• Verify insurance eligibility using One Source and other portals.
• Enter data in New Patient Registration for reporting and analytics.
• Handle high volume calls using scripts and knowledge base.
• Outreach to patients for PCP updates, records, and authorization requests.
• Spotlight virtual care options and ReadyMed PCP programs to eligible patients.
• Manage patient appointments using the EPIC scheduling system.
• Prepare welcome mailings for new patients.
• Communicate releases of information when needed.
• Promote MyChart portal and other patient resources.
