Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Senior Patient Care Coordinator to support patient registration and insurance verification for primary and specialty care in Worcester, MA. The role requires accurate data entry, excellent customer service, and proficiency with EPIC scheduling.

You will handle inquiries, coordinate with payors and patients, promote patient portal use, and assist with training. A remote-friendly schedule and in-person training periods provide flexibility within a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service, call center, and/or insurance experience.
• 1+ years of healthcare registration or receptionist experience.
• 6+ months of insurance registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance to ensure accurate demographics.
• Answer calls, follow scripts, and assist patients with provider selection.
• Enter data in New Patient Registration database for monthly reporting.
• Assist with EPIC scheduling and Next steps in patient care processes.
• Promote patient portal usage and manage communications with payors.
