Truist Financial Corporation seeks an Underwriter for multifamily loan and borrower credit analysis in Frisco/Dallas area. You will perform loan sizing, underwriting, and due diligence in a high-volume environment, aligning with Agency guides and Truist standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Credit Risk Management team, reviewing complex documents, and ensuring accurate underwriting narratives. Strong Excel proficiency and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and related experience.
• Proficient level with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related applications.
• High attention to detail, highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to simultaneously handle a variety of assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to take initiative with minimal direction.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and analyze data from property owners, borrowers, lenders and third party sources to prepare mortgage loan submissions.
• Execute due diligence process and coordinate with Closing to facilitate funding and delivery.
• Inspect properties and assess physical and economic conditions with supporting documentation.
• Order and review third party reports ensuring adherence to agency requirements.
• Analyze borrower’s legal structure and financial statements in light of agency requirements.
• Ensure credit risk issues are mitigated and discussed with underwriters.
• Ensure accuracy of underwriter’s narrative and support loan decisions.
• Stay updated on Agency Guide requirements and pricing changes.
• Prepare loan submission packages in compliance with Agency Guide and internal requirements.
• Assist in completing underwriting aspects of final loan delivery package.
