Truist Financial Corporation in Frisco, TX is seeking an Underwriter to provide multifamily mortgage loan and borrower credit analysis, including loan sizing and underwriting in support of the Credit Risk Management team. The role requires proficiency with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guides and thorough due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• High attention to detail, highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle a variety of assignments and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and analyze data from property owners, borrowers, lenders and third parties for mortgage loan submissions per Agency standards.
• Execute due diligence including deal files, checklists, and coordination with Closing for funding.
• Inspect properties and document physical/economic conditions with presentations and maps.
• Review third party reports ensuring adherence to agency requirements.
• Analyze borrower entities and financial statements in light of property/market conditions and agency rules.
• Ensure credit risk issues are mitigated and properly supported in underwriting decisions.
