Zusammenfassung

Truist Financial Corporation seeks an Underwriter to provide multifamily mortgage loan and borrower credit analysis in support of the Credit Risk Management team. You will work in a high‑production environment, leveraging Agency guidelines to structure terms and advise on risk and financing strategies.

You will review leases, financial statements, and third‑party reports, and coordinate with Closing to ensure timely funding. Strong analytical and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related applications.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to take initiative with minimal direction.
• Willingness to travel, occasionally overnight.

Aufgaben

• Obtain and analyze data from property owners, borrowers, lenders and third parties to prepare mortgage loan submissions per Agency standards.
• Perform due diligence, maintain deal files and coordinate with Closing for funding and delivery.
• Inspect properties and document physical and economic conditions with supporting presentations.
• Order and review third‑party reports ensuring agency requirements are met.
• Analyze borrower entities and financials, ensuring KY standards and agency/truist requirements.
• Mitigate credit risk issues and discuss significant concerns with the Deputy/Chief Underwriter.
• Ensure accurate underwriting narratives reflecting factors affecting the transaction and refinancing outlook.
• Stay updated on Agency Guide requirements and pricing changes.
• Prepare loan submission packages per Agency Guide and internal requirements.
• Assist the Deputy Chief Underwriter in completing underwriting aspects of final loan delivery.
