Truist Financial Corporation in Frisco, TX seeks a Mortgage Underwriter for multifamily lending to analyze loan submissions, size loans, and underwrite in accordance with Agency guidelines. You will review leases, appraisals, financial statements, and environmental reports to support credit decisions.

You will coordinate with Closing, ensure Know Your Customer compliance, and contribute to risk mitigations in a high-volume environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and analyze data from various sources to prepare mortgage loan submissions in line with Agency standards.
• Execute due diligence: maintain deal files, track items, and coordinate with Closing.
• Inspect properties and document physical/economic conditions with maps and presentations.
• Order and interpret third party reports ensuring compliance with agency requirements.
• Analyze borrower structure and financials, perform credit analysis on entities and principals.
• Ensure credit risk issues are mitigated and discussed with senior underwriters.
• Ensure underwriting narratives accurately reflect factors affecting the transaction.
• Understand Agency Guide requirements and stay updated on changes.
• Prepare loan submission packages in compliance with Agency Guide and internal rules.
• Assist in completing underwriting aspects of the final loan delivery package.
