Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

You will decide on internal technician versus third-party dispatch and work to rapidly restore uptime with strong maintenance knowledge. Expect engagement with OEM information, technical bulletins and cross-functional teams; high-pressure crisis management and bilingual communication support are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; ASE certifications preferred.
• Five years+ Ryder Operations (shop) experience preferred.
• Two years+ Ryder operations customer-service exposure preferred.
• Four years+ in transportation maintenance required.
• Two years+ in diagnostic and customer-resolution exposure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve vehicle roadside breakdowns with autonomy over cost decisions.
• Assist with follow ups and service-provider interactions; provide summaries to maintenance team.
• Provide updated technical knowledge via OEM bulletins, internal training and docs.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team; provide status updates and training.
