Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish. You will determine whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties, resolving mechanical and electrical issues on Ryder fleet assets with strong diagnostic skills and customer-focused communication.

Role requires extensive technical knowledge, problem solving, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred - ASE certifications.
• Five years in Ryder operations (shop) environment preferred.
• Two years of Ryder operations direct customer service exposure preferred.
• Four years in transportation maintenance required.
• Two years in technical diagnostic and customer resolution exposure related to main vehicle engines.

Responsibilities

• Assess research, troubleshoot and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy.
• Assist with follow ups and service provider interactions; provide periodic summaries to maintenance team.
• Provide updated technical knowledge to maintenance team via OEM info and internal training.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team; provide status updates and training.
