Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV who takes full ownership of Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

The role decides whether to dispatch internal technicians or route work to third parties, addressing technical issues on Ryder lease or contract vehicles to improve uptime and customer experience. You will apply strong maintenance knowledge and diagnostic processes to resolve breakdowns via telephonic communication, mentor Tier 1 staff,

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in Ryder Operations (shop) environment.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations direct customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance.
• 2+ years in technical diagnostics and customer resolution exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot vehicle roadside breakdowns with autonomy over cost and uptime.
• Coordinate with RCRC agents and leadership for service provider interactions.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training to maintenance teams.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and participate in trainings.
