Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases end-to-end.

You will determine whether to dispatch internal technicians or defer to third parties, addressing mechanical and electrical issues on Ryder vehicles while improving customer uptime and satisfaction. The role requires strong diagnostic and configuration knowledge, English fluency, and willingness to work alternate shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician calls or third-party work with autonomy.
• Provide updates and mentorship to Tier 1 call center staff.
• Resolve technical issues on Ryder lease/contract vehicles.
