Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish, deciding whether to dispatch internal technicians or third-party service providers, and resolving maintenance issues on Ryder lease vehicles.
You will apply diagnostic knowledge to restore uptime, mentor Tier 1 staff, and collaborate with the Ryder Customer Response Center, engineering and operations to improve OEM quality, warranty issues, and overall customer
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- ASE certifications preferred.
- 5+ years in Ryder shop environment preferred.
- 2+ years in Ryder operations customer service exposure preferred.
- 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
- 2+ years in diagnostic and customer resolution exposure related to Ryder fleet required.
Responsibilities
- Assess research, trouble-shoot and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy of decisions related to cost and uptime.
- Assist with follow ups, escalations, service provider interactions in partnership with RCRC leadership.
- Provide updated technical knowledge, including OEM info and internal training materials.
- Mentor the Tier 1 call center team and provide status updates.
