Job summary

Affirm is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to nurture and grow a portfolio of strategic merchant partners. You will drive value through cross-functional collaboration, negotiate complex contracts, and lead initiatives across Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Credit to maximize revenue and GMV.

You will manage executive relationships, analyze partner performance, and champion programs that increase product adoption while maintaining exceptional customer health and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of B2B client-facing experience.
• Experience negotiating and closing large, complex commercial contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with high attention to detail.
• Ability to build and manage productive internal and external relationships.
• Analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report impact.

Responsibilities

• Act as SEM and team lead across omni-retail for managing complex accounts.
• Oversee portfolio of strategic accounts, drive strategic initiatives and expansion.
• Lead account plans including financing optimizations, executive engagement, and marketing strategies.
• Analyze partner performance to increase product adoption and GMV growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute partnership initiatives.
• Manage customer health and ensure satisfaction and results.
• Drive customer advocacy and resolve critical issues with product and engineering.
