Job summary

Rocket Lab in the SolAero Office is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide onsite IT services, mentor staff, and own complex technical tasks across IT teams. You will manage incidents, requests, and projects while ensuring robust documentation and support during launches.

The role requires strong experience in IT and comfort working across diverse technologies, including VMs and cloud tools. Some shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT support experience and a HS diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Windows or Linux, PC hardware, networking, scripting, Active Directory.
• Experience participating in and supporting end-to-end IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient delivery of IT services on-site.
• Track and update tickets across Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Project.
• Build relationships and be the SME for IT Support.
• Provide instruction, guidance, and documentation to different teams.
• Support Launch and Mission Operation during launch periods.
