Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead the IT Management capability across the enterprise. You will own current- and target-state architecture, develop roadmaps, and align stakeholders across governance, security, applications, and infrastructure to enable cohesive modernization.

The role requires strong enterprise architecture experience, TOGAF/BIZBOK familiarity, and the ability to translate standards into actionable guidance for program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field with extensive experience.
• Experience in architecture for business capabilities, enterprise business systems, IT management processes, or cross-functional portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to connect target-state design to delivery planning and operational outcomes.
• Experience creating roadmaps and architecture guidance across multiple solutions or services.

Responsibilities

• Own the current-state and target-state architecture for the IT Management capability across enterprise boundaries.
• Define capability roadmaps spanning platforms, workflows, data exchanges, and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve coherence in IT Management decisions.
• Translate enterprise standards into capability-specific architecture guidance for IT Management.
• Identify dependencies, sequencing needs, and trade-offs across the IT Management portfolio.
• Guide delivery teams to advance a coherent target state rather than local optimization.
• Collaborate with Governance & Strategy, Enterprise Applications, IT Infrastructure & Operations, and Cybersecurity teams.
• Support enterprise decision-making by clarifying outcomes and data dependencies.
