Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead the Enterprise Focused Business Capability Architect role. You will own the current-state and target-state architectures for a broad portfolio spanning HCM, SCM, FInancial Management, and Enterprise Management across organizational boundaries.

The role sits in Strategy and Architecture within the CIO office and emphasizes cross-domain alignment and capability roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
• Experience in enterprise architecture across multiple domains and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Business Capability Architect for enterprise-focused portfolios across multiple domains.
• Define and maintain current-state and target-state architectures across the enterprise.
• Develop capability roadmaps spanning systems, services, and initiatives.
• Translate standards and direction into architecture guidance for the portfolio.
• Identify dependencies, sequencing needs, and trade-offs across landscapes.
• Guide solution teams to unify initiatives into one coherent target state.
