Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead Architecture Operations and Enablement within the Governance & Strategy group. You will drive architecture governance, intake, and metrics across multiple domains while partnering with domain leads to maintain a scalable operating model.

This role supports onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer across the enterprise. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience (or higher degrees) and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related technical discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience in enterprise architecture governance and architecture operations.
• Experience with governance boards, review cadences, and architecture artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Define and operate architecture governance workflows, review cadences, and intake processes.
• Coordinate architecture standards, methods, templates, and practice artifacts across the enterprise architecture team.
• Establish and track architecture metrics, health scorecards, and reporting to improve visibility and accountability.
• Support onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing across architecture populations.
• Help surface friction, bottlenecks, and opportunities to increase clarity, speed, and effectiveness.
