Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Staff Computer Systems Architect to serve as the Business Capability Architect – IT Management, owning the current- and target-state architecture for IT Management across the enterprise and guiding modernization initiatives.

This telecommuter role requires proximity to a major Northrop Grumman location for onsite meetings within 90 miles, and demands collaboration with governance, security, applications, and infrastructure teams to drive coherent capability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 12+ years, or PhD with 10+ years.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Experience in architecture for business capabilities and enterprise systems.
Strong stakeholder-management and influence skills across business and technology groups.
Knowledge of BIZBOK capability and TOGAF ADM.

Responsibilities

Own the current-state and target-state architecture for IT Management across the enterprise.
Define capability roadmaps spanning platforms, workflows, data exchanges, processes and modernization initiatives.
Guide solution and delivery teams to ensure a coherent target state across IT Management.
Partner with stakeholders across governance, enterprise applications, IT operations, security, analytics and enabling functions.
