Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead the Architecture Operations and Enablement within the Governance & Strategy organization. The role focuses on establishing a repeatable operating model, coordinating governance, and enabling effective decision-support across business, data, application, technology, and security lanes.

You will drive metrics, templates, and templates adoption, while supporting onboarding and knowledge-sharing across the architecture

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline; 12+ years of experience (or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years)
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret level security clearance

Responsibilities

Define and maintain architecture governance workflows, review cadences, and intake processes.
Coordinate architecture standards, methods, templates, and practice artifacts across the enterprise architecture team.
Establish and track architecture practice metrics, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility and accountability.
Support onboarding, communications, training, and knowledge-sharing across architecture population.
Lead or participate in architecture governance boards, method reviews, standards lifecycle activities, and cross-functional planning sessions.
