Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Senior Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead the enterprise application architecture lane within the Strategy and Architecture team. You will define principles, reference patterns, and guardrails for the application landscape and guide modernization efforts across major platforms.

You will collaborate with business capability, data, technology, security, and delivery teams to ensure coherence and long-term portfolio sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience defining enterprise application standards and target-state architecture directions.
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and modernization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise application architecture principles and target-state guidance for the landscape.
• Guide portfolio decisions related to modernization, reuse, lifecycle planning, and integration expectations.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate architectural trade-offs and improve coherence across the landscape.
• Mentor architects on enterprise application architecture methods and patterns.
