Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 12 years of relevant experience, or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• Experience defining security standards, trusted patterns, architecture guardrails, or reference architectures across complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of zero trust architecture and defense compliance landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise security architecture principles, patterns, and guardrails.
• Guide architecture trade-offs involving identity, access, segmentation, and secure integration.
• Ensure alignment of security requirements with modernization plans and target-state architectures.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve security across domains and reduce architectural debt.
• Mentor architects on embedding security into enterprise and system architecture decisions.
• Support executive-facing architecture communication on security risks and modernization implications.
