Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Management, Planning and Scheduling professional to develop, maintain, and analyze the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). You will lead complex IMSs in MS Project, oversee resource-loaded schedules, and ensure alignment with contractual requirements and program management best practices.

You will provide senior-level support to EAC/LRE processes and prepare schedule review packages for leadership and external customers.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and a minimum of 8 years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Program Management experience; or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, Project Server, or similar industry scheduling systems.
Experience leading development and management of complex Integrated Master Schedules and performing advanced schedule analytics (critical path, logic integration, and/or workflow analysis).
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or equivalent performance management processes.

Responsibilities

Lead development, integration, and governance of complex IMSs in MS Project, ensuring alignment with technical scope and program management best practices.
Oversee resource-loaded schedules and ensure integration across cost, schedule, and technical baselines, including advanced network logic and workflow structures.
Develop, communicate, and maintain Program Master Phasing Schedules and planning artifacts for near-term execution and long‑range planning.
Perform and lead advanced schedule analysis, including critical path/driving path evaluation, schedule risk integration, health assessments, and trend interpretation.
Provide senior‑level support to EAC and LRE processes, ensuring schedule accuracy and alignment to program financial performance.
Lead preparation and delivery of schedule review packages for internal leadership and external customer engagements.
Advise Program Managers and customers on schedule status, impacts, risks, and acceleration scenarios.
Ensure compliance with Raytheon scheduling policies, DFARS/EVMS requirements, and audit readiness for baseline integrity.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, and finance to establish a credible PMB.
Provide mentorship and oversight for junior planners; help shape planning processes and tools.
