Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Planner to create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with government and corporate requirements, and to lead schedule-related analyses. You will work with scheduling SMEs, program managers, finance, contracts, and technical leads to keep baselines current and actionable.

Responsibilities include critical path and risk analysis, CDRL submittals, and integrating contractual changes to sustain predictive program performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• University degree required; 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• US citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• Scheduling experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using scheduling software to create and maintain industry schedules (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan).
• Experience or familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar processes.
• Experience balancing technical, cost, schedule constraints to meet customer needs.
• Experience assisting IPTs in planning, scheduling, and cost estimating activities.
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management.
• Experience with Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with government and corporate requirements.
• Assist with planning and cost estimation activities; prepare reports to ensure programs meet schedule commitments.
• Prepare internal weekly and monthly schedule review packages and external CDRL submittals.
• Prepare schedules for all contract work; perform critical path, risk, and variance analysis.
• Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS to keep baselines realistic and current.
