Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned Senior Scheduler to lead development and governance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs. You will oversee multi‑discipline, resource‑loaded schedules and ensure alignment with contractual and financial baselines.

You will provide senior guidance on schedule risk, EAC/LRE processes, and NRO/CDRL compliance while collaborating with engineering, operations, and finance. This role is remote within the U.S. and offers robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years in Program Planning/Scheduling/PM or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, Project Server, or similar scheduling systems.
• Experience leading development and management of complex Integrated Master Schedules and performing advanced schedule analytics.
• Experience with EVMS or equivalent performance management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and governance of complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) in MS Project to align with scope and contractual requirements.
• Oversee resource-loaded schedules and cross-domain integration across cost, schedule, and technical baselines.
• Develop and maintain Program Master Phasing Schedules and planning artifacts for near-term and long-range planning.
• Perform advanced schedule analytics including critical path, risk integration, and trend interpretation.
• Support EAC and LRE processes to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with financial performance.
• Lead preparation and delivery of schedule review packages for internal and external engagements.
• Advise leaders on schedule status, impacts, risks, and acceleration scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling policies and EVMS/DFARS requirements; act as SME for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, and finance to build a credible PMB.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior planners and improve planning processes.
