Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Program Management, Planning & Scheduling Professional to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and PMPS, ensuring alignment with IPDS and program lifecycle. The role requires US citizenship with an active Secret clearance prior to start date and onsite work.

You will analyze critical paths, perform risk assessment, and mentor junior planners while collaborating with program teams to deliver compliant IMS baselines and effective scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years in program planning/scheduling or PM.
• Advanced degree with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with IMS/IMP, PMPS, EVMS, and scheduling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze the PMPS/IMS/IMP schedules.
• Analyze critical path, risk integration, and schedule metrics.
• Review IMS coding and ensure compliance with directives.
• Lead scheduling for complex efforts or mentor junior schedulers.
• Collaborate to integrate solutions into the IMS baseline plan.
• Produce weekly/monthly planning metrics and EVMS-related reports.
• Explain Schedule Risk Analysis results and mitigation plans.
