Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with SMEs and business owners to create objectives, content, and evaluation strategies while developing proposals. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in design and development, experience with Articulate 360 Suite and Storyline, and strong adult-learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, education, instructional design technology or related area.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five or more years of experience in designing and developing e-learning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training materials/solutions.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of a development tool such as Storyline required.
• Knowledge of how to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing aligned with Ryder’s goals and competencies.
• Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives and evaluation learning strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates innovative ideas.
• Stays current on learning trends and incorporates best practices.
