Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic training solutions for a diverse workforce.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective e-learning, ILT, and blended programs, deliver proposals, and implement strategies that meet objectives. The role requires strong communications, project management, and a solid grasp of adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, instructional design technology, education technology, or related area or minimum 8 years of equivalent experience in designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support training materials/solutions.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives aligned with Ryder’s goals, principles, and competencies.
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop instructions and evaluation strategies; organizes projects to deliver within scope and timeline; adopts best practices in instructional technologies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals and ensures solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates innovative ideas to gain consensus and partnership.
• Stays updated on learning trends; incorporates adult learning best practices into training solutions.
• Collaborates with team members and performs other duties as assigned.
