Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance-support training solutions that enhance Ryder's employees' capabilities.

The role collaborates with subject matter experts, develops measurable objectives, creates engaging content, and stays current with adult learning principles and tools such as Storyline and Articulate 360 to deliver effective training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance-support materials.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite and Storyline is required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with clients and subject matter experts to build training strategies.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing aligned to goals and competencies.
• Consults with SMEs to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates ideas to gain consensus.
• Stays current with emerging trends in learning methods.
