Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance-support training solutions that enhance Ryder employees' capabilities.

The role involves collaborating with SMEs, developing sound objectives and content, and delivering customized learning strategies while staying current with adult learning best practices and instructional technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field or minimum 8 years' equivalent experience designing and developing e-learning materials.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years of education or business environment experience.
• 3+ years designing and implementing learning solutions.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite is required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies is advanced.
• Knowledge of Storyline and client collaboration for training strategies is advanced.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consults with SMEs to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures solutions align with objectives and desired outcomes.
• Keeps current with emerging trends in learning methods.
