Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance-support training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create actionable objectives and implement evaluation strategies, while ensuring alignment with Ryder's goals and competencies. The role emphasizes adult learning best practices and continuous learning trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design Technology or related area or equivalent work experience.
Five or more years in education or business environment.
Three or more years in designing and developing learning solutions including e-learning and ILT.
Experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Knowledge of at least one authoring tool such as Storyline.
Ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.
Develops learning project proposals and implementation plans.
Ensures instructional design solutions align with objectives and outcomes.
Stays current on emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning principles.
Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
