Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to develop dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, and performance support training for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with SMEs to create sound objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, and you will design project proposals aligned to business goals. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in education or business environments, expertise in Articulate 360 Suite and Storyline, and strong knowledge of adult learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, business, or instructional design technology.
• Five years or more in education or business environment.
• Three years or more designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 and Storyline.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience working with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consult with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.
• Design learning project proposals and align solutions with objectives.
• Ensure instructional design solutions meet outcomes and communicate innovative ideas.
• Stay current with trends in learning methods and adult learning principles.
