Maximus seeks a Senior IBM COBOL Developer for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) project. This is a full-time remote position requiring an active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI).

You will lead COBOL development, design, code, and unit test software modules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet complex business requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining COBOL programs, updating documentation, and mentoring other developers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; 5+ years of professional experience preferred.
• 5+ years of IBM COBOL development experience.
• Active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) required.
• Experience with DB2, CICS, and IBM DB2 utilities.

Mansioni

• Lead the development of COBOL-based software solutions meeting business requirements.
• Evaluate new coding techniques and tools for integration.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM COBOL programs.
• Update documentation and track requirements with unit tests.
