Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Manager of Health & Safety to lead and implement management systems across assigned operations. You will train staff, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement to uphold high standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigation skills, and collaboration with project teams to ensure safety and operational excellence across multiple sites. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety, chemistry, environmental science, water resources or an related field.
• Course work in management systems (ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Experience with EPA/OSHA/DOT regs and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, compliance, and performance of management systems and H&S rules.
• Develop and sustain a proactive H&S culture across operations.
• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analyses.
• Provide training assessments and implement H&S training programs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Site H&S Coordinators to resolve safety issues.
• Prepare reports and participate in audits and inspections.
