Veolia in North America is seeking a Senior H&S leader to manage the implementation of core Management Systems and H&S programs across assigned operations. You will train, monitor, and coach employees to improve skills and ensure compliance, with focus on continuous improvement and zero-tolerance safety culture.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of EPA/OSHA, and experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of health & safety or management systems experience.
• Experience in industrial environments with H&S programs.
• Knowledge of EPA/OSHA and DOT regulations.
• ISO certification or Six Sigma coursework a plus.
• Preferred ASP/CSP certification is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Monitors safety, compliance, and performance across projects.
• Develops a pro-active H&S culture with field teams and clients.
• Evaluates Management Systems and H&S programs for value and improvement.
• Leads incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Coordinates audits, findings, and action plans for improvement.
• Provides guidance for work-related injuries and crisis events.
• Collaborates with departments to implement continuous improvements.
