Job summary

Ourvita is seeking a Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to lead the HSE program across U.S. facilities. You will develop strategies, oversee risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting, and partner with senior leaders to embed HSE into business decisions.

You will champion a proactive safety culture, drive performance improvements, and manage critical risk programs. A strong background in regulated manufacturing and industry certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field required. An advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HSE experience with leadership responsibility in multi-site manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Experience developing and implementing HSE strategy, leading compliance and risk management programs, and improving performance.
• Pharma, nutraceutical, food, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as CSP/CIH/CHMM or equivalent credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for HSE programs across multiple U.S. facilities and support functions.
• Develop and execute HSE strategies, standards, objectives, and KPIs aligned with priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate HSE risks and provide practical solutions to integration into business planning.
• Champion proactive safety culture and strengthen leadership accountability.
• Lead enterprise compliance, risk management, and assurance programs.
• Oversee HSE management systems including audits, inspections, investigations, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage critical risk programs including contractors safety and machine safeguarding.
• Establish and monitor leading/lagging indicators and use dashboards to drive corrective actions.
• Lead design and delivery of HSE training and competency programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and People & Culture to embed HSE in changes, capital projects and new equipment design.
• Represent company with regulators and external stakeholders.
