Job summary

Yahoo seeks a Senior Project Manager for the HR PMO to lead end-to-end HR programs, including M&A initiatives, Total Rewards, and cross-functional HR projects. You will maintain a current view of portfolio health, drive governance, and communicate decisions to senior stakeholders.

Bring 8+ years in program management, executive presence, and experience embedding AI tools into daily workflows. This role offers a flexible hybrid model and collaboration with Legal, Finance, and HR leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive program management experience leading large-scale HR initiatives or enterprise transformations.
• Proven track record leading people-side M&A activities end-to-end, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and integration.
• Demonstrated executive presence with VP+ leaders and governance experience.
• Deep experience with project/portfolio methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and enterprise tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Experience embedding AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) into workflows for faster synthesis and artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of HR programs across M&A, Total Rewards, and cross-functional HR projects.
• Maintain portfolio health with risks, dependencies, milestones, and decisions; communicate up and across.
• Structure ambiguous work into clear plans; define scope, sequence, and success criteria.
• Drive governance: documentation, decision logs, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Show flexibility to pick up new workstreams and balance strategic and tactical work.
