Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end HR programs across M&A, Total Rewards, and cross-functional HR initiatives within our PMO.

You will own a complex portfolio, drive governance, and deliver executive-ready updates while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery. The role requires 8+ years of program management experience in tech and a strong track record in M&A programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive program management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional HR initiatives or enterprise transformations in a fast-paced tech or global matrixed environment.
• Proven track record leading people-side M&A activities end-to-end, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, talent retention, and system/cultural integration.
• Experience embedding AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) into daily workflows for rapid data synthesis and artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Own a complex program portfolio and drive end-to-end delivery of HR programs across M&A, Total Rewards, and cross-functional HR projects.
• Maintain a current view of portfolio health including risks, dependencies, milestones, and decisions; communicate up to executive levels.
• Structure ambiguous work into clear plans with defined scope, sequence, and success criteria before work starts.
• Drive governance: manage documentation, decision logs, status updates, and stakeholder communications end to end.
• Lead M&A project delivery as primary PM for due diligence, integration planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and HR leadership to manage sensitive timelines and information with discretion.
